“Willy is an accomplished manager with a depth of experience in all areas of corporate real estate including facilities maintenance, mechanical, construction management and store operations,” says CEO Joseph Scaretta.

Prior to joining Empire, Demel spent 8 years as the national retail program manager for CBRE/Sprint where he measurably improved service levels and customer satisfaction without increasing expense. Most notably, Demel previously was the vice president of facilities management for Bank of America. During his 9 years with Bank of America, he served a portfolio of 3,763 facilities with 40 million square feet of rentable space while managing construction of trading offices in South America and Asia.

Willy DemelDemel is a life member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
